2410.1 October Release for Dynaway AM (Microsoft Asset Management) for Microsoft D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management

Thomas Krogh, our Principal Technology Specialist, shares information about updates within Dynaway Advanced Asset Management for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM), which aims to accelerate your adoption and productive use of Asset Management for D365 SCM. 

 

Highlights in Dynaway Advanced Asset Management and Dynaway Mobile for Asset Management 2410.1 version: 

Finance and Supply Chain Management (Finance & Operations)

  • Advanced Maintenance Checklists
    You are now able to have checklists install assets and update their counter data. This is done by introducing two new checklist line types. When work order are completed, the asset will be installed and counter data updates. 

  • Asset Service Management
    You are now able to set up projects in relation to service contracts. This affects the projects used for work orders when the work order is related to a service contract.
     
  • Contractor Management
    Setup for contractors using mobile has been added.

  • Safe Work - LOTO
    You can now set up tools required for your LOTO. On the LOTO totals for tools are shown, enabling the worker to collect the tools needed before going out.

Dynaway Mobile

  • Work Execution
    Checklist support for Installation asset and Measurement - Installation asset checklist types.

    Numerous qualities of life improvements for the user including:

    - Automatic search as user types in more locations in the application.
    - Better sorting of lists of data when working with saved searches.
    - Color codes for lifecycle state as well as work status on My calendar.

    Better handling of sign-off report. It now supports much larger work orders and the resulting PDF is paged in A4 size.

  • Planning Board
    Saved search lists can now be sorted by criticality and service level to help the planner plan based on the properties.

    Planning note dialog aligned with work execution, so they are now structed in the same way and fields are called the same.

  • Safe Work
    Add new section to handle LOTO objects. The user will be able to list, filter, update, create, and handle LOTO. 

    Add plan lines, removal and setup step under LOTO.

    General fix improvements to enhance stability and design coherence.
